E-flite Micro P-47 Thunderbolt 625mm BNF Basic with AS3X+ and SAFE Select
The E-flite Micro P-47 Thunderbolt 625mm is a “full-house” replica of the iconic WWII fighter, and the first micro-class warbird to include functional retracts, flaps, and LED navigation lights. The P-47 packed the wallop of eight .50 caliber machine guns and could carry bombs and rockets to wipe a ground target off the map. This model brings that presence to a size that flies in large yards, small parks, and sports fields. It’s slightly larger than UMX ultra-micro models so it can replicate the full-scale design, with molded-in panel lines, machine guns, and other surface details in a fully molded EPO airframe reinforced with plastic and composite. The factory-finished paint and decal trim scheme makes it a scale replica you’ll be proud to show off.
The factory-installed brushless outrunner motor drives a 4-blade propeller on popular 3S 600-850mAh batteries, delivering anything from smooth, scale-like flight to better-than-scale vertical performance and aggressive aerobatics. Six installed linear servos handle aileron, elevator, rudder, and flap control. The retractable landing gear and steerable tail wheel make it easy to taxi, take off from, and land on smooth surfaces. Over grass, leave the gear retracted, hand launch, and belly land. Functional flaps allow shorter takeoffs and landings and better slow-speed performance.
Enhanced AS3X+ gives the smooth, locked-in feel of a much larger model, even in some wind. Optional-use SAFE Select adds pitch and bank angle limits with automatic self-leveling that you can switch on or off, making this one of the easiest-to-fly P-47s yet. The Spektrum receiver and Avian 15A Smart Lite ESC deliver real-time telemetry (battery voltage, current, motor RPM, and more) to compatible AirWare transmitters with Smart and non-Smart batteries. A Smart Transmitter File lets NX and iX series transmitters import all settings automatically during binding. Assembly takes under 5 minutes: install the one-piece wing with a single thumbscrew, which also removes quickly for storage and transport.

Skill Level Note: The Micro P-47 is a Skill Level 3 model for intermediate pilots. Although it is one of the easiest-to-fly P-47s yet, it is not a suitable first-ever RC aircraft. Recommended prior experience includes UMX and other warbirds, the E-flite P-51D Mustang 1.0m, or T-28 Trojan 1.1m.
