APC 12x8 Thin Electric Propeller

12x8 thin electric propeller from APC. Made with a pultrusion process that packs in more fiber than glass-filled nylon, giving extra stiffness and strength. The thinner blades cut weight and drag and help damp vibration, and the computer-optimized shape bites well with less noise.

Part number:

APC 12x8 Thin Electric Propeller – CCW Standard/Tractor

Engineered for efficiency and precision, the APC 12x8 Thin Electric Propeller delivers the performance that serious electric RC aircraft pilots demand. APC’s proprietary pultrusion manufacturing process achieves a 60% fiber to 40% nylon binder ratio, which is substantially higher fiber density than standard glass-filled nylon props. The result is exceptional strength and stiffness in a thinner, lighter cross-section that benefits aerodynamic efficiency and weight. The added stiffness helps control vibration resonance at high RPM, while computer-optimized blade geometry delivers more aerodynamic bite with less noise than traditional propeller profiles. The balanced 12-inch diameter and 8-inch pitch is a versatile combination for sport and general-purpose electric aircraft. Reinforcing fibers maintain true, constant pitch across the entire RPM range for consistent thrust from takeoff to full throttle.

Features:

• Pultrusion manufacturing process with 60% fiber density for superior strength and stiffness over glass-filled nylon
• Computer-optimized blade geometry for a thinner profile, more aerodynamic bite, and reduced noise
• Reinforcing fibers maintain true, constant pitch at any RPM
• Lightweight construction reduces rotating mass for higher efficiency and longer motor life
• Thinner cross-section benefits both weight reduction and aerodynamic performance
• Additional stiffness controls vibration resonance at high RPM
• CCW (Counter-Clockwise) Standard/Tractor rotation
