Built for the late-night garage diehards and weekend trail warriors who demand more from their scale builds, the Axial SCX10 III Motobilt Waypoint Jeep JT Gladiator is a 1/10 scale recreation of one of the most extreme purpose-built off-road machines on the planet. Developed in partnership with Motobilt, this officially licensed Jeep JT Gladiator captures every defining detail of the Waypoint build — from the Motobilt front and rear bumpers with Baja Designs LP6 bumper lights and S2 bed rail lights, to the scale 15 lbs. CO2 tank and Hi-Lift jack mounted in the bobbed bed. Jeep's iconic 7-slot grille, detailed fender flares, molded door handles, hood vents, side mirrors, and inner fender wells bring authentic JT Gladiator character to the polycarbonate shell, while the official Jeep production color scheme and bright LED lighting across bumpers, headlights, taillights, and bed rack complete a scale presentation that turns heads on the trail and on the shelf.
The chassis is as capable as it looks. Expandable steel C-channel rails with a 13.9" extended wheelbase reduce frame flex and improve suspension performance across demanding terrain, while the front 3-link and rear 4-link suspension with 6mm stainless steel links and stainless steel pivot balls deliver the articulation and durability that serious rock crawling requires. AR45 straight axles — with a driver-offset differential housing on the front axle for added scale realism — feed power through oil-filled aluminum-bodied coil-over shocks that are fully tunable for trail conditions. The improved SCX10 III Panhard bar mount features two-piece construction with double shear protection, and the skid plate offers multiple upper link mounting options to fine-tune suspension geometry and dial in anti-squat. The all-metal SCX10 III transmission with full ball bearings and multiple skid plate link positions keeps the drivetrain reliable and tuneable for any obstacle.
The Spektrum SLT3 3-channel transmitter controls the Firma 40A Brushed Waterproof ESC and Axial Slick Rock 35-turn brushed motor, while the third transmitter channel operates the factory-installed Dig function — locking the rear drivetrain and engaging front-wheel drive for precision navigation through the tightest technical sections. The S683 servo's 25T steel output gear handles demanding steering loads without failure. Silicone elastomer battery straps replace hook-and-loop for fast, convenient battery access, and the system accepts standard or shorty 2S or 3S LiPo packs.
