Aluminum Hex Overview
Tamiya’s 5mm Aluminum Wheel Hexes are designed for use on many of their RC on-road models, offering a precision upgrade over the standard plastic hubs included in most kits. Each hex features a slit design that, when tightened with a cap screw, securely clamps to the axle. This clamping style helps prevent the 2x10mm stainless steel pin from falling out during wheel changes.
Crafted from lightweight yet rigid aluminum, these hexes improve durability and enhance wheel alignment accuracy. They are available in 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm widths, allowing for fine-tuning of wheel offset to suit your setup.
