The tread centers on a vertically stacked, square angled pin arrangement that flexes and folds evenly under load — a layout that resists premature wear, digs in for forward traction, and uses the spacing between pins to aid rotation mid-corner and produce a clean, snappy release on exit. The focus throughout development was durability and rear-end performance on loose, wet, or dusty racing surfaces.

The rise of dirt-oval competition and the continued adoption of mid-motor and laydown transmission platforms called for a fresh approach to pin geometry, carcass profile, and outer tread construction. Angled pins worked into the outer sidewall are calibrated for turn release and rotation, keeping the rear end consistent and predictable through the arc and off the corner. Where the tread meets the tire body, a carefully shaped radius encourages pin snap on corner exit while standing up to the tearing and separation forces that come with aggressive racing use.
