Intermediate Mode opens up tighter turns and faster climbs as your skills build, and Experienced Mode removes all angle limits for full aerobatic freedom. If things ever get away from you in Intermediate or Experienced mode, Panic Recovery mode instantly returns the plane to stable level flight at the push of a button.

The updated AeroScout S 2 arrives with a factory-installed Spektrum AR631+ receiver pre-loaded with a Smart Transmitter File (STF) that automatically downloads all switch assignments, rates, expo, telemetry settings, and voice callouts to compatible NX and iX series Spektrum transmitters during binding — getting you in the air faster than ever with zero manual programming. The Spektrum Avian 30A Smart Lite ESC delivers real-time telemetry data including motor RPM, current, and battery voltage to compatible AirWare-equipped transmitters throughout the flight. The unique pusher power configuration protects the motor and propeller from ground strikes while the upgraded stronger nose section and nose gear mount, metal-geared rudder and nose wheel steering servo, and advanced EPO construction combine to make the AeroScout S 2 genuinely tough enough to handle the inevitable bumps of the learning process. Wide-stance tricycle landing gear with a steerable nose wheel and oversized tires handles grass, pavement, and dirt fields with ease — or add the optional float set (HBZ3811, sold separately) to fly from ponds and lakes. Float Flying: Optional floats (HBZ3811) are available separately and install in minutes using hardware included with the aircraft.
