As the high-voltage upgrade to the standard Cobra 5, this unit is designed for uncompromising performance in the most demanding conditions—whether you’re tackling competitive racing or pushing limits in high-powered bashing.
Precision Control & Advanced Processing
Equipped with a 32-bit processing platform, the Cobra 5 HV delivers ultra-smooth throttle response and rapid processing speeds. Its enhanced data logging system captures at double the sampling rate and eight times the duration of earlier models. The onboard accelerometer allows you to record motor timing and acceleration data, while a looping log feature ensures continuous tracking—perfect for in-depth tuning and performance analysis.
Fully Customizable & Intelligent Operation
Fine-tune performance with separate brake and reverse curves, plus an adjustable internal BEC ranging from 5.0V to 8.5V in precise 0.1V increments. The included Castle Link V4 USB programmer and Castle Link 2 software provide complete access to diagnostics, firmware updates, and advanced settings at no extra cost. Built-in audible alerts quickly identify issues such as thermal overload or low voltage, and six essential parameters can be programmed directly from your transmitter for trackside adjustments.
Rugged Thermal Management & Construction
The CNC-machined aluminum case, waterproof epoxy potting, and forged elliptical-fin heatsink make this ESC exceptionally durable. A large 50mm temperature-controlled cooling fan maintains optimal operating conditions, while CRYO-DRIVE™ technology improves efficiency by minimizing heat generation during partial throttle use. An auxiliary wire also allows “on-the-fly” tuning without stopping your run.
