8th ‘XV4’ 20Hole Pistons

This is a pair (2) of patented VRP ‘XV4’ Pistons, available in 20H Front or 20H Rear configurations.

20H Front Pistons

• Drilled: 3h1.4, 1h1.5, 16h0.6mm

• Return holes: 1.1mm

• Laser-marked with “F” for easy FRONT identification

20H Rear Pistons

• Drilled: 3h1.5, 1h1.6, 16h0.7mm

• Return holes: 1.2mm

• Laser-marked with “R” for REAR identification

Precision CNC Quality

Each piston is CNC-drilled for exact hole sizing and straightness. Hand-drilling this pattern cannot achieve the same tolerances—small holes must be perfectly clean, burr-free, and precisely aligned. For optimal performance, we strongly recommend purchasing these pistons directly from us rather than attempting to modify them by hand.

Washer Requirements

The VRP ‘XV4’ Pistons are engineered to run with washers above and below the piston. Proper washer installation is essential for correct function.
Every set includes a Washer Hardware Pack with everything needed for installation.

Note for TEKNO Racers

The Front piston’s large holes can be drilled to 1.5mm to allow lighter front oils that better match rear oil setups.

Rebound Tuning – Color-Coded Washers

Each piston set includes four upper washers, each offering a different rebound rate:

• Black – Most rebound

• Red – Slightly less rebound

• Gold – Moderate/less rebound

• Blue – Least rebound

Tuning Tips:

• Use more rebound (Black) on loose, low-grip, or blown-out tracks with large ruts.

• Use less rebound (Blue/Gold) on smooth or high-traction tracks.

• Recommended starting point: Black washer in the rear, Red washer in the front.
