Adrenaline RC Racing | Winchester, VA
The dirt is down. The pipes are set. The vision is complete.
In our latest YouTube video, Jacob Hardison walks us through the brand-new layout for the 2026 Spring Point Series at Adrenaline RC Racing — and this one might be one of our best yet.
If you haven’t watched the full reveal, you can check it out here:
Now let’s break it down.
A Layout Built for Racing — Not Just Surviving
Spring at Adrenaline means one thing: 10th scale takes center stage.
While the track remains fully capable of handling 1/8 scale, this layout was intentionally designed to favor 10th scale racing — giving those cars proper jump faces, manageable gaps, and flow that rewards precision driving.
Jacob’s goal?
Create a fast, open, race-friendly layout where drivers battle each other — not just the track.
The Front Straight & Opening Section
As always, we start at the front door with a full-width straightaway — clean, simple, and built for speed. The start loop sits right at the line, keeping things efficient and organized.
From there:
-
First right-hand turn
-
A familiar but refined opening jump
-
Smaller tabletop top surface
-
Longer, more forgiving landers
-
Improved lip for better 10th scale pop
The early section sets the tone: flow over flash.
Chicane to Carousel — Carrying Speed Matters
After the tabletop, drivers drop into a chicane with a straight-shot option if you line it up correctly.
Key features:
-
Usable straight line for 10th scale
-
Room to bleed wide for momentum
-
Large sweeping carousel
-
Backside double with tons of run-up
-
Long, safe landers to protect cars
Jacob intentionally added more kick to the doubles this time around. That extra pop gives 10th scale cars the lift they need, while 1/8 scale drivers still have no trouble clearing everything cleanly.
The Diagonal Lane & Reworked Feature
One of the most improved sections is the third double.
Previously, a similar feature proved overly difficult. This time:
-
More lip on the takeoff
-
Much longer lander
-
Pivot point lowered
-
Smoother overall transition
The result? A feature that’s technical — but fair.
This section feeds directly into a 180° turn that sets up what may become the most strategic part of the track.
The Option Lane — Tight vs. Wide
Here’s where it gets interesting.
Coming out of the diagonal lane, drivers face a decision:
Option 1: Stay Tight
-
Single over the roller
-
Maintain tight line
-
Minimal distance traveled
Option 2: Go Wide
-
Double the section
-
Blow out for better run-up
-
Carry more speed
Which is faster?
That depends on:
-
Grip level
-
Your car setup
-
Race traffic
-
Risk tolerance
This is where races will be won — and mistakes will cost.
The AR Theme Lives On
From the driver stand, the layout keeps the signature Adrenaline branding alive.
You’ll clearly see:
-
A defined “A”
-
A much more pronounced “R”
-
A squared-off, West Coast-inspired visual style
This is one of the first times we’ve gone with a more squared aesthetic indoors, and it gives the layout a clean, aggressive feel.
Designed for Flow
This track isn’t about massive gaps or “hero” jumps.
It’s about:
-
Clean landers
-
Wide, forgiving lanes (14 ft in key sections)
-
Open sight lines
-
Rhythm consistency
-
Passing opportunities
Jacob summed it up perfectly:
We want racers to race each other — not race the track.
And that’s exactly what this layout delivers.
