Formula Guide:
Blue (PTK-1572) — Everyday Fastener Security
Dependable vibration resistance for common metal-to-metal threaded connections. Removable with standard hand tools — the go-to all-around formula for components requiring both security and routine serviceability.
Purple (PTK-1578) — Light Strength for Small Screws
Designed specifically for small fasteners including screws common in 1/24-scale RC vehicles. Light-strength hold prevents back-out from light vibration without making small-scale maintenance unnecessarily difficult. Removable with standard hand tools.
Orange (PTK-1579) — High Strength Near Heat Sources
High-strength retention for fasteners exposed to heat — motor and engine area applications. Stronger than medium-strength options but easier to remove than red. Some applications may require heat to loosen.
Red (PTK-1580) — Maximum Strength for Critical Fasteners
Maximum holding strength for critical connections where a loose fastener would cause serious mechanical problems. Best for engine mounts and high-demand applications. Requires approximately 500°F direct heat for removal — reserve for applications where retention takes priority over disassembly.
