JConcepts breaks new ground in Short Course racing with the Carvers — the first directional ribbed front tire purpose-designed for 2WD Short Course Trucks. Prior to the Carvers, front tire options for 2WD SCT were limited to running rear tires up front, but as the Short Course class evolved into a true competitive racing class, the need for a dedicated front tire became clear. The Carvers fill that gap with a radial rib design that presents the tire compound to the racing surface in a controlled, predictable way — delivering less aggressive, more consistent front-end response that translates to faster, more repeatable lap times. Sharp angular and directional ribs provide excellent control and direction across the most common dry and wet condition surfaces, while the 2.2" x 3.0" large sidewall design retains the realistic SCT proportions the class is known for. The compact tire body pairs with included firm profiled closed-cell inserts for precise steering input and consistent response lap after lap. New Carvers shine on low-traction and high loamy or wet surfaces; worn Carvers excel on indoor and outdoor clay tracks where a light blue groove has formed.
