Lithium Polymer Safety Guidelines

• Never charge a LiPo pack while it’s still installed in your model

• Never leave a charging LiPo unattended

• Always balance-charge

• Always use a LiPo-safe charging bag or box

• Only charge LiPo packs with a LiPo-compatible charger — NiMH/NiCD chargers are not safe

• Avoid over-discharging any lithium polymer battery

• Fully read and understand all included safety documentation before use

Additional Notes

High-energy LiPo batteries must be handled carefully to avoid over-charging or over-discharging, both of which can cause overheating or reduce battery life. Do not discharge more than 80% of the pack’s rated capacity. New packs should be fully charged before first use, and lightly cycled (about 50% discharge) for the first five uses. Use ESC low-voltage protection and keep per-cell voltage above 3.2V. Avoid extreme heat, such as direct sunlight or enclosed vehicles. If the pack becomes hot after a run or fast charge, allow at least 20 minutes for cooling before recharging and inspect it before placing it back on the charger.
