Lithium Polymer Battery Safety Guidelines

• Never leave a pack inside your model during charging

• Do not leave lithium batteries charging unattended

• Always use balance charging for LiPo packs

• Charge only inside a LiPo-safe bag or fireproof container

• Use only chargers designed for LiPo/LiHV batteries (NiMH/NiCD chargers are incompatible)

• Do not over-discharge packs—stop use before they drop too low in voltage

• Read and follow all instructions before operating

Important Note:

• Avoid overcharging or over-discharging. Do not exceed 80% of the pack’s maximum capacity during use to extend cycle life.

• New packs should be fully charged before first use and only discharged to ~50% for the first 5 cycles.

• Monitor run time and set low-voltage cutoffs on your ESC (no lower than 3.2V per cell).

• Do not charge a hot pack; wait at least 20 minutes for it to cool before recharging.

• Keep packs out of direct sunlight and avoid storage/charging in environments over 35°C, such as inside a car.
