LiPo Battery Safety Guidelines

LiPo (Lithium Polymer) batteries offer incredible power and performance—but they must be handled properly. Please follow these important LiPo safety rules to protect yourself, your vehicle, and your property.

🔋 Charging Safety

• Always use a LiPo-compatible charger.

• Set the correct cell count (2S, 3S, 4S, etc.) before charging.

• Never charge above 4.2V per cell (unless specifically rated LiHV).

• Never leave a charging battery unattended.

• Always charge in a fire-resistant location using a LiPo safe bag or fireproof container.

• Do not charge a battery that is swollen, damaged, or punctured.

⚡ Usage Guidelines

• Never discharge below 3.0V per cell (use ESC low-voltage cutoff).

• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.

• Avoid puncturing, crushing, or exposing the battery to extreme heat.

• Stop using immediately if the battery becomes excessively hot, swollen, or damaged.

🏠 Storage Rules

• Store at 3.7–3.85V per cell (storage voltage).

• Keep in a cool, dry place, away from flammable materials.

• Do not store fully charged or fully discharged for extended periods.

• Store in a LiPo safe bag or fire-resistant container.

♻️ Disposal

• Do not throw LiPo batteries in the trash.

• Fully discharge safely and recycle at an approved battery recycling facility.
