An improved applicator tip gives you controlled, precise application, and an updated cap with clearer label instructions makes grabbing the right formula fast and confident at the workbench. All formulas feature a 10-minute set time and 24-hour full cure for consistent, predictable results.

Formula Guide:

Blue (PTK-1572) — Everyday Fastener Security
Dependable vibration resistance for common metal-to-metal threaded connections. Removable with standard hand tools — the go-to all-around formula for components requiring both security and routine serviceability.

Purple (PTK-1578) — Light Strength for Small Screws
Designed specifically for small fasteners including screws common in 1/24-scale RC vehicles. Light-strength hold prevents back-out from light vibration without making small-scale maintenance unnecessarily difficult. Removable with standard hand tools.

Orange (PTK-1579) — High Strength Near Heat Sources
High-strength retention for fasteners exposed to heat — motor and engine area applications. Stronger than medium-strength options but easier to remove than red. Some applications may require heat to loosen.

Red (PTK-1580) — Maximum Strength for Critical Fasteners
Maximum holding strength for critical connections where a loose fastener would cause serious mechanical problems. Best for engine mounts and high-demand applications. Requires approximately 500°F direct heat for removal — reserve for applications where retention takes priority over disassembly.

Features:

Four color-coded formulas for every fastener retention need

Designed for metal-to-metal threaded connections

Prevents screws from loosening due to vibration during RC operation

Improved applicator tip for controlled, precise application

Updated storage cap and clearer label instructions

10-minute set time / 24-hour full cure

Developed and tested by ProTek RC racers and engineers

In the Box:

Qty

Item

1

ProTek RC Thread Lock — 0.5 fl.oz

Note: Please select your preferred formula (Blue, Purple, Orange, or Red) from the available options above before adding to cart.
